Relocation
In the report These Four Walls: The Real British Office by international architects Gensler they claim that "Poorly designed offices could be costing business up to £135bn a year"
and that an improved workplace could make the nation up to 20 per cent more productive than it is currently. In addition they came to the conclusion that a better working environment would increase employee and managers productivity by 19 per and 17 per cent respectively.
Relocating offices can result in a number of benefits allowing companies to:-
- Review and advance their company culture.
- Introduce new technology allowing the modernisation of working practices.

If you are planning to relocate offices we can assist with the following:-
- Analysis of your existing office space, workstation numbers and utilisation, room types and sizes.
- Creation of a design brief, i.e. proposed workstation numbers, room types and sizes.
- Calculating your future space requirements per m² to assist your agent in searching for suitable office space.
- Reviewing any building choices in terms of suitability i.e. How would your departments spread over 2, 3 or 4 storeys? Does the building floorplate depth and structure suit your ideal workstation and room sizes and configuration? Does the building have sufficient toilets and facilities to suit your organisation?
- Carrying out a space planning exercise to plan you into your preferred building choice.
